Hi jimmy09
Welcome to the Emerge Desktop forum!
The icons are emergeTasks (equivalent to the Explorer Taskbar) with icons set to 16 pixels and Background set to transparent.
Can you post a screenshot of the error message? _________________

Well, it's been a while since I used eD, but it's like riding a bike.... Didn't take me long to get back into it. Running this on two different machines.
First my home PC; single 19" 14:9 aspect:
(my Emerge Desktop bars and Rocket Dock only show on mouse-over)
And my work PC; dual 19" 4:3 aspect:
(looks a bit funny, but over two separate monitors, it actually looks like the image flows properly. lol...)

You've got some sort of bezel correction running for the background then? _________________ Customize.org - dA - Flickr |

Lol... Not really, it's just the way my monitors sit next to each other:

Hey all,
Well it's not quite as slick as most of the others in here, but it's about functionality for me and I wanted to share.
I'm on an HP Tablet PC running Vista. Using gkrellm for the computer stats.
Mostly I'm just so glad the desktop rotation and tablet pc functions work flawlessly in eD.

I was really excited i just found about this great lil app. Decided to look for shell alternatives cuz i wanted to improve performance while keeping a nice clean look.
I just played with these for a couple of hours and this is what i came up with :
Apps:
-ED (Console; Tasks; Tray)
-1st Clock (with CPU and RAM usage)
-Explorer (just the window with Findexer enabled)
-XWindowsDock 5.6 (dock)
Im also using Dexpot which works just great!
Thanks guys for making this all possible |

Nice looking setup you got there.. Is that bar along the top part of your background or did you do that with the scheme settings in Emerge Desktop? Either way, it looks pretty good.
And welcome to Emerge Desktop... _________________ eD 4.2.1.135 on Win7 Ultimate x64
