Postby ironhead » Sun Sep 09, 2012 1:02 pm

Hi All,

I've uploaded the official release of 6.1.2:

32-bit installer: http://sourceforge.net/projects/emerge/ ... e/download
64-bit installer: http://sourceforge.net/projects/emerge/ ... e/download
32-bit archive: http://sourceforge.net/projects/emerge/ ... z/download
64-bit archive: http://sourceforge.net/projects/emerge/ ... z/download
Source: http://sourceforge.net/projects/emerge/ ... z/download

Fixed:
  • Google Chrome not working correctly
  • Update the Tutorial internal command to point to the new site

Note: There are known issues with Win8 that will be further investigated in a subsequent release.

Enjoy! ;)

Thanks for the update :drink:

But i've issue with my "Samurize" running under WinXP SP3 updated.
All "Samurize Clients" is missing from desktop after restart, with this ED 6.1.2. (i also try several restart, reboot and logoff)

I try to revert back to ED 6.1.1 and all "Samurize Clients" back to normal.

Try again with ED 6.1.2.
This time I try to change "Samurize Clients - Position" change from "Pin To Desktop" to "Pin To Desktop (compat. mode)"
All "Samurize Clients" was show up but it's "Missing" again after restart, reboot and logoff :x

Then i change "Samurize Clients - Position" to "Normal Windows Behaviour".
All "Samurize Clients" seem's to be Normal and not missing after restart, reboot and logoff.
:cheer: my temporary solutions.

Now i need to modify several AHK script cause it's not pinning to the desktop  ...Window_Hidden()...

Did anyone have the same problem? :?

The explorer window is now hidden, so pinning anything to the desktop will probably cause it to be hidden as well.

I think your wisest option is to stick with 6.1.1

Yes, my whole Desktop is full of Samurize, so i need to use the "Pinned to Desktop" function to act all Samu-cfgs as a wallpaper. I was really shocked when my Desktop was blank after restart with eD v6.1.2 ;)

I haven't used Samurize in many, many years, and yes, 'Pin To Desktop' makes it 'disappear', but I see the same behaviour when running Samurize under Explorer in Windows 7. Using the 'Pin To Desktop (compat. mode)' allows it to behave as expected for me (under Explorer and eD) using the sample.ini config.

On reboot / login, left click on the desktop and Samurize will 're-appear'. This has been a long standing issue with applications that 'Pin To Desktop'.

Forgot to mentioned that ur trick ["Pin To Desktop (compat. mode)" + Desktop Left Click] will re-appear Samurize Client.
That's why i realize that something related to Windows Behaviour.
But some Clients that using AdvancedMediaPlayerInfo.dll and/or SpectrumVis.dll still disappear when Playing a Media.
Need to Restart the Client to bringing it back to Normal.

Thanks for the update.
Any chance of getting an update feature built into ED?

I'll add that to the to-do, not sure when I'll get to it since the to-do is rather large. ;)
