Good catch! Seems to be working well for me now, do you think it's ready for commit?

I made a slight modification to your patches in that I added a "hidden" flag to the Task class and set it appropriately during CleanTasks() as opposed to constantly enumerating all windows. Using this method the CPU hit is reduced.

You can find the changes here, please let me know what you think.

Edit: Plus this additional change here.

Cheers! :)

Looks good to me! I knew there was a more efficient way of doing it, but I've a terribly short attention span, so once something is working, it is often weeks until the fact that it's not right bothers me enough to go back and do it again properly :D

Is this still only in the Source download? I don't see any options for this in the latest 6.1.3 binaries.

This feature is currently only available in the mercurial repository. There are several features I'm working on getting stable prior to making a new release and unfortunately Real Life is slowing me down quite a bit these days. :(

Thanks for the quick response ironhead, I've downloaded the source so I'll take a look at your thread on building it :)

:Testin multimonitor with Win 8.

:if i make another task instance and enable this monitor only and move it to monitor 2 it stays there and works normal but .when i save theme or exit and start core it moves back to monitor 1 so then got 2 task instances at monitor 1.
:Same with all modules

Edit: actual window manager was to blame. Now working good.

How to disable tasks preview? annoying big window

As in you would like an option to disable the task preview in emergeTasks? Guess that makes sense to add....
