Preview pane for running apps

Is it possible to view a preview window when I put a mouse over the icon of a running app? I really like this ability on Windows 7 :D

It is official that some code is already in place (actually it was there before 6.0) and that ironhead mentioned he planned on tackling that feature after he finishes with Drag-and-Drop for the menus. How soon that will be is up to him (or any gifted developer that is interested/has the knowledge to help with eD development).
