Postby mizu.taifux » Thu Apr 12, 2012 12:39 pm

Hello all.

I have used ED version 1077 and i am checked that EmergeHotkeys stop and freeze in my Windows 7 x86.
For revert this problem the solution is kill EmergeHotkeys on taskmanager a

Does it freeze every time?

I have had some freezes under Win XP SP3 but I can't replicate what causes them.

I've had eHotkeys take a dump (and freeze) if there was a conflicting key-combo that was not bound to windows (it was in fact bound to a third-party app).

Hello all.
Thanks for the return.
I checked that happened after one time.
Shift+Esc Keys dont work or any shortcuts.

Applications running all time in my pc:

-Windows Explorer (seven)
-Opera 11.62
-Notepad
-Gaim
-Mozilla Thunderbird
-Adobe Acrobat (sometimes)
-VMWare (sometimes)
-Remote Desktop (sometimes).

Maybe this can help.

You mean Pidgin? GAIM hasn't been around for nearly a decade now lol.

Does Shift+esc cause the hang, or do you mean you can't register it as a hotkey combination (I can't on my system)?

For the benefit of the doubt, there is more than one GAIM:

Could also be that mizu.taifux is an old fart like me and prefers to stick to the old name. Back in my day a Pidgin was a bird that pooped on a car's winshield. ;)

Sorry to all.
I meant Pidgin (a horrible name for IM software).
Ironhead is right. For a long time I used Gaim, and I mistake sometimes.
